How do you do, ladies and gentlemen. This is Chris Mizerak. It's been a minute since I've done one, but a new announcement medley is overdue. This is to give you an idea on what to expect from the months ahead, especially April, and upcoming as well as current updates to the site. First of all, you may have noticed that there isn't any links and categories on this site's articles. There seems to be an issue with the mobile Wix Editor software that's either not letting me set them up or even take them out and reset them from scratch.
I keep being told by Wix Editor that this will be fixed, but it never is. Your patience is greatly appreciated over all these technical conundrums. I aim to sort them out the best I can. If not, just be aware. Now's the time to mark your calendars. For my long awaited Top 25 Video Games list will be premiering on April 30th. I'm devoting this next month to put the finishing touches and finalize the last eligible candidates for this list. So my focus will mostly be put on that for you later next month. I'll still have a few articles to tide you over until April 30th.
The most notable of which is film reviews for "Minecraft" and "Until Dawn", two video game-to-film adaptations. Maybe a Versus segment, or two separate reviews. We'll see how I fare this April. There might even be a few other surprises until then. Not making any promises here, but do continue to keep up the support and stay tuned. I'm thinking that after my top 25 list is released, the time for a break from The Film Pub is overdue. I need to work on many other things outside of my actual job and this website. I also need to rest and refresh my brain for a bit.
I'm not saying that I'll be completely radio silent necessarily. But I'm saying that there may be less articles each month than I'm used to writing. There's nothing personal about this decision to those that have been loyal from the start. But to tell the truth, it's becoming necessary for me to do a little less going forward for awhile until I have some things figured out. There's something you can do to keep this site going forward. Obviously, continue reading old and new articles from this site for starters. There's also another favor you can help with.
You might have also noticed I deleted my Threads account (Instagram's competitor to Twitter), due to constant toxic negativity from the feeds. I know I'm asking alot for recommendations of social media sites that aren't riddled with toxic users constantly complaining about any and every single thing. If you have recommendations though for sites that are fairly tolerable, more than Twitter or Threads, let me know down in the comments. 2025 has been off to a rough start for me. My backwards compatible PS3 died out on me without any warning.
That's why my Top 5 TV Shows list came out earlier than originally planned. I'm lucky to get a slim PS2 to tide me over. There were a few games from that console I wanted represented badly for the list. I conclude this announcement medley with a sneak peak into the titles you can expect so far from my top 25 video games list. Hopefully, this article helps you understand what will be going down in the coming months. Thank you to the loyal supporters who have stuck with the site this far. Until then, this is Chris Mizerak. Over and out.
